Christmas Pictures and Presents with the Rices

Lance's family got together for pictures and presents.
The kids are getting the picture routine down with all the holiday pictures. Peyton loves babies and got to hold our new cousin Lucy.
The two girl cousins with their dark hair.
Kempton loved his new tractor! It shakes, rolls, and makes crashing sounds- what more could a little boy want.
After a few tears and multiple takes we got a picture where everyone had their eyes open and looking at the camera.

Engagement and a Baptism

Saturday night after skiing and a helicopter ride Chelsey got engaged.
Adam had planned a surprise engagement party that night following all the exciting events. Congratulations Chelsey and Adam you make a fabulous couple!
Last week we headed north to be a part of Cooper's baptism. It was really neat for Peyton to see his favorite cousin get baptized.
His parents planned a beautiful luncheon after the baptism.
I can't believe Peyton is just months away from his baptism.
It is always nice to share these special events with family and friends.

Trees and the Gallery Walk

Lexi had a fun performance at the festival of trees. The night before her performance she was crying about the performance and I thought, oh she must be nervous. However, when I asked her what was wrong she said- Our dance teacher told us we will be dancing on a big stage and it will be decorated with giant presents. Then Lexi said very concerned- but we are dressed like sunflowers. Sunflowers and presents do not go together. I had to bite my tongue in order not to laugh. I quickly explained about sugar plum fairies and the problem seemed to be taken care of.
Lexi did a great job and both sets of grandparents were there to see the beautiful dancer.
The Gallery Walk on Main Street in Logan is where we walk through the stores admiring the neat gingerbread houses they have on display. The Temple gingerbread house was Lexi's favorite.
We bundled up and enjoyed the night out with family.
What great dads on stroller duty!
The kids really liked all Christmas window displays.
Kempton was excited to get out of his stroller and roam with the big kids.
We stopped at our favorite store on Main Street, Locker 42, to say hi to Uncle Jason.

Sub for Santa

We all gathered for the annual Sub for Santa shopping. Peyton helped pick out all the best Lego sets (his specialty).
The little girls were great little tape elves.
The boys were more into watching football and eating pizza. I guess some things start young.

Thanksgiving Feast

Lexi loved the Thanksgiving feast with her class. She was so excited to be a pilgrim. She planned her whole outfit so she could be just like a pilgrim girl.
Her class is only 16 kids so it was a manageable party. Unlike Halloween when they combined both the kindergarten classes making for complete chaos.
Lexi has loved being in class with her two cousins and making new friends as well. We had a fun Thanksgiving complete with basketball (too cold for football), shopping, games, and lots of food.
