Wedding Season

Wedding season is in full swing and we have been to a few lately. Temple square looked so pretty with all the tulips. I think Kempton was just excited it was not raining or snowing like it has been most of this spring. Joey and Page had great weather for their garden reception. The kids just like getting to play with cousins.

Teddy Bear Picnic

At our Kindergarten the Teddy Bear Picnic is a coming of age tradition. At the end of the kindergarten school year the kids get to celebrate with a Teddy Bear picnic.
Lexi had looked forward to taking her Ballerina Bear to school for a couple of weeks.
Too bad it had to be moved inside due to the rain but it was a fun time for all.

Mother's Day and Birthday

On Mother's Day the kids surprised me with breakfast in bed and then it was off to church. I had to teach in Relief Society for the third Mother's Day in a row. Hopefully next year I will have a break.
For my birthday we went for bowling and pizza with the kids. On the 14th Lance planned a night out with just the two of us, nothing better!

Peyton's Baptism

As a mom you have these milestones that always seem to be in the distance but suddenly you are there and you realize your child is growing up way too fast. Well Peyton's baptism was one of those moments.
My brother Morris gave a talk about baptism that was just perfect for eight year olds.
Lexi and Kempton checking everything out before the meeting started.
Peyton had some great friends come and support him at his baptism.
Following the meeting we had a brunch with family and friends. Peyton wanted to make sure all his friends were invited.
Thanks to my family behind the scenes getting everything ready.
It was a memorable day filled with all the people Peyton loves.
Peyton we are so proud of you and your decision to be baptized. If you stay true to the promises you have made you will be eternally happy.

Craft Time / Chat Time

Every month I get together with some friends for craft night. The funny thing is none of us, except one, are crafters. It is really more about the conversation, snacks, and break from the kids.
This is Kami of the the popular blog NoBiggie.net teaching us all about templates, letter press, and die cuts.
We often don't finish our complete project because we are so busy talking but we have a lot of fun trying to be crafty.
I had to sneak in a picture of the kids on Easter - dressed and ready for church.
