California

Last weekend we headed off to Dana Point with a group of friends. The kids stayed home and we made the most of our independence. What is a trip without a little shopping? The girls got sucked into Lululemon and the boys were great sports waiting patiently for us to finish. We ate at a lot of yummy restaurants and made a few stops at Pinkberry.

One of the highlights of the trip was the U2 concert.

We had great seats close up to the (Claw) stage.

Bono is amazing! They definitely know how to put on a fabulous show. Lance found there is no better place to get a little work done then on the beach.
It was nice to get away for a little R and R with great friends! Thanks Ashley and Dustin for the fun beach house.

Champions!

The A's won the two week tournament to cap off a great season. The proud mama after a great game against the White Sox. The team trophy was almost as tall as the players. The boys loved every minute of it! Lance helped out as an assistant coach along with some other great dads. Coach Boss treated the team to ice cream after the victory.
It was fun and busy to have Peyton and Lexi playing baseball this season. It was not uncommon that I would be watching two games at the same time. Future baseball players.

Baseball and Ballet

Lexi was a beautiful ballerina at her dance recital. Peyton was lucky he had a few friends there watching their sisters as well. They were either hanging out in the hall or folding paper airplanes but Peyton was great to stop and make all his friends watch Lexi. Nana Anita enjoyed watching Lexi perform. She only had a few years off from watching her daughters to now her grand daughter. Lance made a daddy-daughter day out of taking Lexi to her dance competition at Lagoon.
From ballet to baseball Lexi is always on the move.
Lexi played on a team with five of her cousins. Uncle Nick was a great and very patient coach.
Lexi liked playing baseball but most of all she loved playing with her friends.
Their favorite thing was having late-overs after the game when it wasn't a school night. Cute girls!
