All Stars

Peyton was really excited to be chosen for the pinto All Star team. Lance got to help out as one of the assistant coaches. In the tournaments the coaches have to wear the full team uniform. I have seen Lance in his football uniform but it was fun to see him ready for baseball. All Stars kept us very busy for the first half of the summer. We drove all over for games and tournaments. We are so glad we had great friends to enjoy it with. The team always met a couple of hours early to drive together. So Lexi and I had fun carpooling with the VandenAkker girls.
Kempton watched a lot of baseball. He thought he was just one of the boys (including the huge wad of gum).
Fortunately, there were fun playgrounds for the kids.
Peyton mainly played Centerfield and Pitcher.
After months of practice and plenty of games their team won 2nd place in the State Championship.
Way to go boys! They worked hard and were such a great team.

Bear Lake

We met the whole family at the lake for a little vacation. Of course there was boating and a lot of time in the sun. Peyton was excited to go wake boarding this summer. Aunt Margo was a trooper and stayed in the water with him while Lance drove the boat.
We had our annual Poole Family Golf Tournament.
Lexi was a great caddy! She made sure everyone had clean clubs and balls. Mallory and Lexi also made sure everyone had plenty of drinks and treats.
The winning team was a little stacked if you ask me.
Kempton loved driving the golf cart with dad.
Pool Time
Park Time
Great times with the family!

4th of July

All the cousins decked out in their red, white, and blue for the annual Logan fireworks party.
Kempton loves going to Nana and Grandpa's because he gets to see all the animals and ride on the "tractor."
Homemade root beer has been a tradition since I was a little girl. It is so fun to share the same traditions with my kids.
Lexi loves parties! She talks about them for days before and days after. She is a little social butterfly.
The fourth of July is always a highlight of the summer!
We made it home after a great weekend for a final fireworks show that the kids watched from their special spot.
