Peyton was really excited to be
chosen for the pinto All Star team.
Lance got to help out as one of the assistant coaches. In the
tournaments the coaches have to wear the full team uniform.
I have seen Lance in his football uniform but it was fun to see him ready for baseball.
All Stars kept us very busy for the first half of the summer. We drove all over for games and
tournaments. We are so glad we had great friends to enjoy it with. The team always met a couple of hours early to drive together. So Lexi and I had fun carpooling with the
VandenAkker girls.
Kempton watched a lot of baseball. He
thought he was just one of the boys (including the huge wad of gum).
Fortunately, there were fun
playgrounds for the kids.
Peyton mainly played
Centerfield and Pitcher.
After months of practice and plenty of games their team won 2nd place in the State Championship.
Way to go boys! They worked hard and were such a great team.

Way to go Peyton! I'm so glad I got to see him play. . .but still can't believe he's old enough for All stars! The best picture is Kempton with his gum! haha
