It's a Boy!

After 9 long months we finally got to meet our new addition: Kempton Robert Rice. Kempton was born at 10:35am on Friday, January 16th. He weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. This pregnancy was especially long because we did not know what this baby was going to be. We were so excited when we saw little Kempton come out!

Peyton was absolutely sure that this baby was going to be a boy so needless to say he is a very proud big brother! He loves to hold Kempton and talk to him.
Lexi initially wanted a girl but then she said she wanted a boy so that "he won't take my dolls and play with them". She just loves being a big sister now!
Later in the afternoon Peyton had the opportunity to take part in the Utes Sugar Bowl Parade in downtown SLC. He was so excited to be able to ride in the back of a black corvette, his favorite car. What a great day!!
