Two great causes

This weekend I was able to take part in two great causes. The first was a dinner and silent auction to raise money to make a running trail to be named in honor of Bunny Bradley.
Bunny died from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend. Many of her friends came together to contribute in honor of her passion for life, fitness, and the outdoors.
It was a beautiful evening filled with many of her friends and family.
I was there just to help but was inspired by the love for Bunny and her memory.
The second event we attended was "Spread Magic Around" a carnival benefiting the Coleman Family. Whit and Lindsey Coleman have two young children who are fighting SMA type I, a terminal disease of the spinal nerves.
The students of Olympus High and others in the community came together to plan this great event. There were so many fun activities for kids and families. Kempton insisted on getting the bean bag in the hole even if it meant breaking the rules.
Peyton and Dustin were great cookie designers. Actually, I think they were more interested in eating the cookie then making it look good.
Lexi and Janie were front row and ready to be impressed by the magic show.
Kempton was not too impressed with the magic show and decided to fall asleep instead. It was neat to see how the community came together to support this awesome family. Whit, Lindsey, and their children Jonas and Maggie are such a great example of faith, love, and optimism.
